Sherwin Williams Rebrand

For this project, I created a new visual identity and logo for Sherwin Williams. The old logo was over a hundred years old and was too illustrative. It needed to be updated to reflect Sherwin Williams presence in the contemporary market. The redesigned logo uses a paint drop intersecting with a location tag to represent Sherwin Williams’ niche as the number one global paint brand in a striking and memorable way.

Sherwin Williams Style Guide

Along with the logo redesign, I created a branding style guide to accompany the new Sherwin Williams logo. The style guide outlines the correct use of the brand's logo, typography, colors, and imagery. In addition to these outlines, I created guidelines for literature, clothing, and web settings in which the brand may be displayed. The style guide can be printed and displayed in spreads or used as pages for online display.
